A Good Kind of Bad

Little One's fever dissipated on Friday.  So despite maybe our better judgment (since She was still recovering), we took Her to a birthday party on Saturday.  It was a family party down in Southern Maryland. A 2 hour trip each way, so that we spent twice as much time driving as we did jumping on inflatable castles.  Which was a good thing; She slept the whole way there and back.
At the party She got to have treats- crackers and even a packet of smarties from the pinata.  She also picked up some kind of kid-germ party favor that causes nastyness to ooze from several orifices, a voice that sounds like She needs to gargle some WD-40, and fits of sneezing that are, I'm sorry, downright hilarious.
J and I were laughing over one of these last night, in fact, when I mentioned that gosh, we are awfully chipper about having a sick child. AGAIN.  And he hit the nail on the head when he said, "Well, its weird, but I guess it's just nice to have Her be... normal sick." True.  Bring on the boogers.
