Next We Will Read "The Cat in the Tiara"

While Reading Dr. Suess:

C: "Do you like green eggs and ham? What do you think, Little One? Do YOU like green eggs and ham?"

Little One: "EEeew! Yuck! No, not.  Not like this, green egg and ha-am."

C: "No?! You don't like green eggs and ham?!"

Little One (considers the question more carefully): "Umm...um, no Mommy.  Not. Sorry."
(perks up as an idea strikes Her) "Ok Mommy! How 'bout this.  Maybe, maybe PINK eggs and ha-am! Maybe could like pink ones.  Sound 'dea?"*

For the record.  I am not teaching Her this stuff.  I am not spoon-feeding Her frilly glitter-coated hearts, seriously.  It's just...in there.

*"Sound 'dea?" is one of Little One's favorite terms.  It's Her contraction for "Does that sound like a good idea?"  and frequently used as a bargaining term, along with "No way Jo-se!"
