My mom and I took the Littles to get some frozen yogurt. The Skinny Dip has a machine dedicated to vegan froyo, and therefore always safe for Little One. So it's a favorite stop for us.
Little One and Missy were sitting in the adorable retro kids table, loving their treats, and Little One read the sign over the table.
Little One: "Mom. It says: 'for little dippers'. What does that mean?"
C: "Well, read the rest of it."
LO: "Ten- and- under- on-ly".
C: "Right. You have to be younger than ten to sit there. It's just for kids! Sometimes kids get to do awesome stuff that grown-ups aren't allowed."
Missy pipes up: "Oooh! Yeah! Like, like like. Like, run! And Play! Play with TOYS!"
C: "Yep, kids get to do awesome stuff. It's fun to be little."
Missy: "Yes! LIKE! KISS THEIR MAMAS!! And hug their friends. Fun stuff. And, ooh. I love my sissy. It IS fun to be little! And big. And medium sized. So. Everyone has fun."
Yep. Especially when they get ice cream.
