Up Top!

A little update on our 4th of July fun.
We had a picnic and then went swimming with some of our favorite people. I decided not to keep Little One up so far past bedtime for the lights, but She did get some party favors from the pool we could pretend were pyrotechnics.
Little One loved Her "fiver-works". And She instinctively knew what do do with them! Obviously, it's all in the name. You swing them around, and yell "fiver-works!" Then you run to your mommy, hop up and down, and slap her hand a bunch of times. After all, this isn't some paltry sports event. This is a holiday. It takes a lot of high-fives to do fiver-works right. Just make sure you yell "fiver! fiver!" with every slap, and then stand back and say "Oooh. Ahhh."
