It's A Fine Line Between Vegetarian and Cannibalism.

We were discussing- delicately- where our food comes from.  It is a relatively recent revelation to our children that meat not only comes from animals (an ambiguous term; I am realizing they had the idea that friendly pigs mailed bacon to people), but in fact is animals.  Little One is grappling with the ethics of this information, and Missy is just trying to put together the startling duplicity of it all.
So, at dinner:

Miss: "So, tuh-key is made out from tuh-keys, dadah?"

J: "Yes."

Miss:  "Chickin is made from some chickins."

J: "That's right."

Miss: "Right.  Right! Chicken is made from chickens.  And tofuh-key is made from toes."
