So. If my Little One stuffs all of Her kale into Her water glass, but then proceeds to eat it all, very delicately, using Her fork, do I count that as progress or problems in terms of table manners?
If She breaks a rule repeatedly, but then puts Herself on time-out, is this progress, or problems in terms of discipline?
And if this lovely toddler walks Her nekid butt all the way to the bathroom, picks up Her special on-the-potty book, and the squats Herself down right next to the potty and proceeds to pee on the floor, do we count this as progress or problems in terms of potty training?

ReplyDeleteI vote progress! Linus does similar things and we just wait for him to make the right choices, and when he does we make a huge deal of it. He then goes on to congratulate himself ;)
